Hi folks, I've got an 08 300 TXT Pro according to the frame number but I noticed a casting mark on the barrel which states GG25 so do I assume it is a 250? Can you check your bikes to see if this mark has a purpose? Thanks

    It seems someone did a conversion to your bike. Yes - GG25 marking on the jug,adjacent to the exhaust, means 250cc.

    Are you in the UK? If so check with Gas Gas UK who can tell you what year / engine bike you should have based on frame number etc.

    If not UK the relevant GG importer for that country will be able to do the same.

    It is possible the 300 was to powerful etc for previous owner - have you contacted them? - and they changed the engine out for a 250cc.
