I have a fantic 241 that i am still restoring, anyone repacked the exhaust on one of these before, guide ?

I have done one. It is a bit of a pain and takes ages but it can be done. I used a dremel cutting disc to cut the back off the silencer immediately behind the seam. The old packing can then be easily removed and the new packing put back after a good cleaning. Then carefully weld the back on again
