hi i have a montesa 200 which wont spark.i dont know if sparking before i done engine as it was seized.i have tried two stators and a new coil and put stator bck on exactly as i took it off.i have black wire from stator going to coil.ps if zerorev3rev4 gets this can you send me your email as i cant send you a message site wont let me

    jtservices@live.co.uk did you know if the 2nd stator worked ,you need to make sure points are insulated with the plastic bushes and the wires to condensor isnt earthing to anything ,, it might be best to do away with the condensor on stator as new modern ones dont seem to be much good ,go to halfords and see if they have a old mini or mgb or old beetle type with one wire and wire this in under the tank direct to black wire at coil it may need the body earthing to frame
