Remote Air Screw For 2013 Evo 4T...ideas?

Featured Replies

so the air screw is in a bad spot. bottom side of the carb.

Evo 4Ts use a CV carb.

any ideas on a remote adjustment? doesnt any one make a nice one?

with a T pipe, even a angle screw driver is a bear to use.

is it for the mikuni CV? i dont have any experiance with Rev 4ts so i dont know what carb they use,

I have the same bike and fitted the jitsie screw and it is fine, the only thing I did was put a mark on the float body and one on the screw in the closed position to allow me to see how many turns nice and easy. The big problem I find is the tick over adjuster is a pain in the a*** to use if anyone has fitted a remote one I'd like to know what bike it came of.

Jitsie ones are hard to find but these fit and work well: Kientech Fuel Screw for Suzuki DRZ400S/SM

I made the adjustment end a little wider and removed the hot start button ( I have never needed it) which gives good access.

got it hot, adjusted it , never touched it since.

if you have a flexible screwdriver you can replace it without taking the carb off

be careful not to lose the small O ring !

The R& D remote screw works great on the 4T

Is this available for the Mikuni carb fitted to the Beta 4T? I can only find ones for the DRZ fitted with Keihin`s, not the DRZ`s with Mikuni`s

can you post a link to the part required?

Part # AB-21081 on the American Beta web site. Yes it says it's for an FCR Kehien but it works fine on the Mikuni BSR.
