April 14, 201313 yr I like these brakes but many dont and change them. Funny thing is there is never any for sale on the internet. You'd think there would be.
April 14, 201313 yr ive changed mine over but keeping the brakes until i sell my bike to put it back to standard, thats why most people arent selling them
April 17, 201313 yr The formula stuff has a bad reputation for reliability, not sure theres a market for secondhand stuff.Gas Gas fitted them for a year and returned to AJP,now made by Braketech.Only Sherco still fitting them, might now be OK,but alot of people don.t trust them
April 18, 201313 yr shame really as they are better than ajp in the way they work, think it was just that first year batch that didnt work..............
April 18, 201313 yr What, specifically is the main fault with them...I've only heard about issues relating to lack (loss) of pressure?
April 18, 201313 yr Either in production they werent cleaned after machining, or somehow the seals get worn out? Not 100% sure on this but the first sign of any fault is the oil turning black. I simply changed my fluid every few weeks and never had a problem.
