April 25, 201313 yr Sadly my "Pride And Joy" 247 C was stolen out of my van a few weeks ago by some To""ers who rode it around then set fire to it. Luckily I have some insurance but have yet to see what the final outcome is. I am trying to get together some of the more difficult parts as hopefully I can get the salvage as part of the deal. one thing I am really struggling for is a "Push in Petrol Cap" and the second one is the rear brake cable. I'll be really greatful for any help and hopefully like a Phoenix - the old beast can rise out of the ashes. Cheers for any help.... The Wobbler
April 25, 201313 yr try inmotion or southwest montesa ,failing that some engineers work with plastic and i think there is companies that can make virtually any cable

April 26, 201313 yr There are some right ba****ds about! You must be gutted mate, to them all they see is an old bike but they don't realise the hard work that's put in to keep them working right, all that destroyed because of some mindless thieving little scum bags!
April 27, 201313 yr That second picture makes me sick.It would be nice to catch them and give them the beating that they need and deserve,but in todays society you would then be in more trouble than them. I hope all goes well with the insurance company and the rebuild.
May 12, 201313 yr Keep an eye on ebay, there is a company I believe in Spain that remakes caps, they are ridiculously expensive! I have seen used ones go for £60
