June 6, 201313 yr Hello Everyone i was just wondering if because my trials bike is road registered it doesn't mean it's road legal does it ? because I thought you needed a horn a speedo meter brake lights and indicators.
June 7, 201313 yr My 4RT is road registered and is not road legal, like you say they need a horn, brake light etc. Some people register them so they can be insured easily even though they have no intention of using them on the road. A few years ago I registered a new Kawaski KDX 220 off the "certificate of newness" it was dead easy and the bike was not road legal.
June 7, 201313 yr just needs a electric horn,a battery one of a push bike will do.and speedo,dont matter if works,but legaly it does but who is going to know?if any lights fitted they must work,so take them of,and get a daytime mot.brake light etc not needed.
