June 17, 201313 yr Hello,can someone tell me which way round the head gasket goes on my Beta rev 3 250 2007,as it`s not symetrical regarding the water way slots?
June 17, 201313 yr Place the gasket on the cylinder taking care that the reference tab on the gasket must be placed aligned with exhaust flange
June 17, 201313 yr I have a gasket in my hand. Without having one apart, I would think the two big slots would line up with the water pipe on the head.
June 17, 201313 yr Last try!! Go steady on the stated torque setting. I don't think you will get the 22 Nm as stated without possible damage, it seams a little high! Edited June 17, 201313 yr by jfc
June 17, 201313 yr Author Hello,thanks everyone for your prompt replies.So it goes with the tab to the front,which places the two full slots to the rear,I presume the water comes up this way and then trickles back down through the holes. Thanks for the pics JFC,i have my own in built torque settings,one grunt and a squeek,it`s been off that many times latley,I just clap and it rebuilds itself. Edited June 17, 201313 yr by clip
