Fork Oil Change Question

Featured Replies

just bought my first trials bike!

2010 txt pro

did a search but couldn't find exactly what i wanted, so apologies if this is already covered somewhere

doing fork oil change for first time

in the compression side, set the fork oil level with the damper rod fully down?

in the rebound side, the damper rod will not sit fully down, the aluminum square block sits just below the top of the tube, is this correct? and the position to set the fork oil?

torque for the base bolt?

at 95kg (naked) do i need to go to heavier springs? (only ridden the bike round a car park but feels very soft)

any uk suppliers?

thanks in advance

For fork oil level info try John Stoodley / trials parts USA website.

You probably need a heavier rear shock spring. These are available in UK - do a web search under gas ags rear suspension. They are about £50 and come in 10 and 20% heavier than standard = supplier will advise which you need.

Cheers
