hi,fitted smaller front engine sprocket and electrex ignition tighened up,engine dosnt turn primary chain fouls case,what do i need to do remove shoulder where chain fouls or ????????

When I bought the smaller sprocket, it came with instructions and a thinner seal for installation behind the sprocket. I did have to cut back the case for clearance. The sprocket and seal came from C&D. I can probably dig up the seal numbers if it would be helpful.

When I fitted a smaller primary drive sprocket I removed

the lip where the chain fouls and fitted a new bearing to the

crank(which was a sealed type and removed the seal nearest

the crank).

hi,thanks for your help been in touch with c&d autos v.v.helpful will use again if i need parts for bsa's highly recommended.now all i need is a angle grinder and big hammer.cheers
