August 4, 201313 yr Well , been threatening myself with going up a class from beginner to novice . Did it today at Frodsham trials clubs Mouldsworth Sand quarry trial . Coops and i toddled off and started off at our appropriate section markers . When we worked out what was what , off i went . 2s and 3s on round one and a heap of fives in round two . The horticulture came in on round four . Cleaned section five on lap three . So went a bit ball,s out up the sandy climb which had a sheet of rock thrown in for a bit of fun , oh yes the tree . Hit it , dragged a long large limb down , tried in vain to clear the leafy bits from my vision, then it grabbed me and tossed me side ways down a small rock face . It's amazing how you can get a footrest pattern on your upper leg even the imprint of the brace bit and serrated edge . Tree still had me in it's grip , got rescued by the observer . " Take it that's a five then"? Fraid so pal Welcome to novice level !
August 5, 201313 yr Author Had to do it some time , but some of it was little out my comfort zone . Still though ,let myself go . What i really enjoyed was going on the flat sand near the pond and doing big slides at near full throttle in third , in massive circles , what a laugh err sorry quite therapeutic . That sand got in everywhere . The chain was full of it . Funny enough ,it's had a polishing effect on it . Great can't wait for the next trial .
