Mate of mine got a montesa 200, when the bike gets very hot (ie second lap into a trial) it starts mis-firing & 4 stroking & cuts out, then v. difficult to start - best bit was, pushed it back to the car and guess what - started first kick....methinks condenser or coil? any ideas? -its had the condenser mod next to the coil.

    mine did that once, but when I started it later it went fine across the yard and then just went bannas with a massive rattle, I am selling it not to a bloke who is gonna restore it.

    Sould like condensor and coil, a mate of mine had similar symptoms on a TY. They are cheap and easy to change anyway so why nt have a go.
