September 2, 201312 yr I have some new sidi zero boots and they are not water proof at all .walking in ankle deep streams lets water in straight away,is this normal or could they be faulty ? The old gaernes seamed a lot better.

September 2, 201312 yr Not everyone seems to like them,but Sealskin socks do the trick if you want dry feet.... None of my trials boots have been waterproof.
September 7, 201312 yr Would say all boots are waterresistant either than proofed. if you can wade through a river without your feet getting wet I would call them waterproof
September 7, 201312 yr Wellies are!...used to ride in NBC wellies when I started in the late 70's Aaah the good old National Board Coal wellies ! I would rather have wet feet personally. Only water proof till the foot pegs ate the instep and they leaked through there.
