Hi All

I have two Cota 123's and a Cota 172 which will form the basis of two finished bikes. One 123 and the 172 frame have broken at the front downtube at some stage (and been badly repaired). Were the frames known to be weak and if so, does anyone know a strengthening fix for them?

they do have a weakness in this area especially if someone left the head mount off some larger cc bikes have a strengthener bar from swing arm mount to head which should help
