October 9, 201312 yr Hi all, Purchased some NJB replacement Clubman shocks for my recently acquired 200, came to fit them last night, and was surprised to find upper mounting lugs are different diameters?? The lugs are standard and have not been re-welded I am informed, but the left is 14.2mm and the right 12mm, any particular reason does anyone know? Pressed the rubber bush out, and changing the metal insert to suit, just seems strange!!
October 9, 201312 yr Metal insert from a previous shock rusted to the old mount maybe. It is very common.
October 9, 201312 yr Author Will take a closer look thanks blocky, frame had recent powder coat before I purchased, so can see your point! Thanks, Mark.
October 9, 201312 yr Maybe njb sent you the wrong bushes to match your bike. I recently restored a mh123 and had the same problem. In motion sent me new bushes. Could also be the powder coat is too thick. I had to sand down my lugs post coating to get the bushes to fit.

Quite possibly gazzaecowarrior, having had a closer look, it does appear that the old insert has been powder coated over though. Thanks.
