Thin Trials Socks, Toni Bou Riding Gear?

Featured Replies

I have Gaerne oil boots with water proof liner, When new, the boots were very tight across my foot ( I have normal width feet) After the boots were broken in they are somewhat wider across my foot. I still can't wear heavy boot socks.

I did see Toni Bou's training video and it appeared Toni was using a very thing sock ( Lycra maybe? ) What are these socks? Are they trials Specific?

PS: It looks like Gaerne normal boots do not have the water proof liner, is this a good option?

Tight boots

The ones called Sealskins are supposed to be the hot stuff. Think they are thin. Look them up!

Try Tesco's ladies dept. I got some thin but long socks there for winter cycling.

They're call stocking !

There is a lot of snow ski stuff out there that works, it's knee height

I would work on stretching the boot to work

Get them hot with a hair dryer and crank em up tight with a pair of thick socks, walk around the house and do lots of deep knee bends

Also alcohol in a little spray bottle will let the leather streach

Worked great for my Novogars
