Rev 3 Radiator Fixing

Featured Replies

Doing a bit of maintenance on the bike and I noticed a loose fixing on the radiator at the bottom then noticed both bottom fixings are loose? Is it supposed to bolt right through from the front of the rad through the rubber bushing and frame??

The rubber grommet has male stud on one side and a female thread on the other, replace the grommets and all will be well

Cheers for that, need two then

Just a thought but what holds this in? Haven't tried removing it properly but even with the nut off the back it was held tight, tempted to drill through it and bolt right through as a temp repair until getting some new ones

JFC explained it. It is a rubber mount, if you drill it you will have more of a solid mount. Mounts are way cheaper than a radiator.

The mount is threaded through the frame, just unscrew with a pair of grips
