January 1, 201412 yr Hi all, I have just brought a 05 gasser and on first ride discovered the clutch was slipping. I have stripped the plates out but there is quite a lot of metal fillings in the oil (plates are scored and some friction pads damaged) so wanted to take the basket out just to check it's all ok and clean. I have removed the centre bolt but can not remove the basket do I need a special tool to do this. Also what is the best oil to refill and how much do I use (ml) Do I need to worry about the height of the kit I buy as I have read some info on different heights on weather it's a light or heavy clutch ???? January 1, 201412 yr Author Thanks, already watched this and tried just wiggling and pulling and does not move at all, if this is definety the way with out using a tool like on the 09 on ill use a little more force. Thanks mark
January 2, 201412 yr Hi. I have an 06 300. Had my clutch out a few times. With the centre bolt out it should come off. might be tight on the bearings on the crank. I havent even got a centre bolt in anymore! I use Motul light gear oil. 400-450ml
