I have recently moved to north devon ( near Barnstaple ) and am desperate to get out on my bike but as yet have had no luck finding any clubs or fellow riders in the area. If anyone knows of anything thing going on in this area please could you let me know. Many thanks

Torridge has a sw championship rd at beam quarry just outside of Torrington next sunday (26th), what you need to do is contact andy bramwell andy.bramwell@Hotmail.co.uk to get a subscription for the sw centre gazette (£20) per year each month it has all the entry forms in for that month or you will have to pay £1.50 per event for a form

always something to ride in your neck of the woods, lyn torridge and exmoor all run great trials there is also Moretonhampstead http://www.moretontrials.co.uk/, West Of England http://www.westofenglandmc.co.uk/ both worth a look and if you dont mind travelling a bit there is also amca clubs Launceston www.launcestonmcc.co.uk and Holsworthy www.holsworthymotorclub.co.uk also if you into classic trials theres South West Classic Trials and even more in cornwall if you're feeling really brave! haha prob missed a few clubs out somewhere too i expect

Great trials down here, get the southwest gazette, it has all the trials in the south west centre. Depending on how far you want to travel, there is always a trial on.

Thanks for the responses and info, lots of comps to enter but I can't find any places that I can go and practice, in glous I used to go to nettleton quarry, you could get a membership and then go up and practice as and when you wanted, is there any places like that in this area.

There's the bikers rest as said above or search lower wembsworthy farm you can pay £5 and ride for the day, they hold trials there as well.
