January 18, 201412 yr Hi ! I usually work on 0.5 to 0.75 of an inch up and down play in the middle of the upper chain run. Another check is you should be able to slide your finger in between the chain block and the bottom of the swingarm. You should be ok with this !
January 18, 201412 yr Use a ratchet strap from the s/arm over the seat (or a big mate) to get the arm in line with the s/arm pivot and front sprocket, and then check the tension so it's just slack, since this will be the tightest you need it.
January 18, 201412 yr looking at the picture the gap between your adjuster and the lug on the swing arm shouldn't be there, it looks as if the adjuster has turned with the nut.
January 18, 201412 yr Your snail cam should be up against the lug of swinging arm as pointed out above ^^^^^^
January 29, 201412 yr Both snail cams on either side of the swingarm need to be adjusted equally too. This enures your wheel remains straight. I would work on around 35mm of freeplay in the chain (auto tensioner removed).
