Beta Evo Front Mudguard - Stronger Replacement

Featured Replies

I've managed to break two front mudguards on my 2013 Beta Evo. The first was broken by a branch which was pulled up underneath, the second was a bit of a get off accident..

The standard mudguard is plastic and quite brittle, does anyone no of a replacement that they can recommend which will take a bit more punishment?

I have a Gas Gas one fitted to my Evo outfit, much more flexible and I think the metal mount/brace dose a better job of keeping the forks straight

Common fault with the '13 evo. Rubbish design.

As above, gas gas ones seem to be the preferred replacement.

Thanks for your help guys, I've ordered a Gasser Mudguard and Brace, maybe I'll buy a new Gasser Machine next time

You need to cut the Gas Gas guard shorter at the back or it tangles with the front pipe and guess what, your new mudguard becomes another part sacrificed to the god of gravity.

Yeah i bought a second hand '10 beta and it had a gasgas front mudguard, and its taken alot of bashing yet hasnt broken, cracked or chipped yet. also on the '10 it looks alot nicer than the standard white one

I have an 2011 Evo 4t...gone through the stock front and a replacement...simple branch under the fender and it snapped...going with the GG next...problem solved.

I too just purchased the 2014 BETA evo300, and a friend recommended me to change both the Frt and Rr mudguard...because the stock ones are crap, and to simply swap the originals back for resale....
