My mate has an '02 Rev-3, and it sounds like one of Massey-Fergusons finest!! Apparently, there's a couple of welds inside the exhaust silencer which have broken away, thus resulting in a horrible clattering noise.

Anyone got any idea what sort of cost he'd be looking at to replace the silencer?? And whats the likelihood of tracking down a recon one?

Any advice fellow Betonians??

cut open the silencer around the weld, i use a air disc which is very thin,re weld the baffels, re pack it with rockwool then weld it back to gether
