Anybody Changed Main Seals On A Evo 80

Featured Replies

as title says just need to know if its easy

im not sure they have gone but i changed the oil today i use atf so i change it every other ride so 8 - 10 hours use but nowhere near 300ml came out and it was smokey last time out i presumed id put a bit too much 2 stroke in it

thanks

Has the bike been on its side? We used to loose some oil through the breather after a big off. If it was loosing trans oil through the mains it would be smoking enough to hide the section that he was riding. Unless your lad is riding the bike hard all the time you probably have a rear silencer full of unburnt oil that is smoking when the bike gets hot after a long hill climb!
