July 19, 200521 yr I can tell you that getting to Stranraer is a bloody nightmare. Long way on crap roads.
July 20, 200521 yr there's a ferry from birkendhead (Liverpool) to Belfast --> outgoing take 11 hours (overnight ie you can sleep it) but coming back is an 10 / 11 hour wait in the day so you can do minimal driving route via Liverpool, drive out to stranrar (take ages) or drive up through the republic ......... rabie
