April 11, 201412 yr Looking for a little advice. I have taken the exhaust off of my 2004 Rev 3 270. There was silicone sealer between all the pipe joints. I do not know if the PO did this or if it comes from the factory that way. I have new O-rings on order and when I reassemble it, should I put hi-temp silicone on them? Thanks for the help. Richard
April 12, 201412 yr I seem to remember some of the red high temp silicone sealant on my '02 and I was the original owner.
April 18, 201412 yr I put new o rings in mine and it still leaked, used the red high temp exhaust sealant Apply to both clean surfaces and assemble Leave it 24 hours before you start it
