Was the last Gas gas model to have a black plastic tank the JTR 1996 or did they continue in to 1997 and the JTX ?

Tried the gas gas museum website but could not seem to find the amount of detail on models i have seen on there before ?

    You're right Mac. I replaced my black 96 JTR tank with a clear 97 JTX tank so I could see the fuel level. Then from 98 until recently tank was aluminium.
