I'm getting different schools of thought on what oils to use in the 4RT. What the owner's manual calls for isn't readily available here in the states. For the motor, I've been told regular 10 w 40 and Silkolene synthetic 10 w 50. For the transmission, Silkolene Light 75-80 weight.

Any bad experiences using these lubricants?

Also, how often is everyone changing oil and filter for the motor and transmission fluid. Do I really need to replace those little o-rings every time I put in a new filter?
