May 10, 201412 yr Have a 2012 evo 250 two stroke ...not done an oil change on this before ... Looks like the drain plug is a hex socket ? .... anyone know what size it is ? Anyone know the torque settings (my owners manual doesnt give any indications .. ktm is ~20Nm so will go with that) Cheers Chris (sunny surrey uk)
May 11, 201412 yr 8mm Hex - 10Nm tightening torque from 2010-2011 Beta Workshop Manual. But I admit to not having used the torque wrench on mine but just nipped it up tight so it does not leak.
May 11, 201412 yr Author thanks very much ... need to invest in one of those .. the owners manual for ktm give you all the torque's ... guess with beta you have to buy the actual workshop manual

May 13, 201412 yr The drain plug is not rocket science. I just snug it up good and not overtighten it.
