June 8, 201412 yr I think the term "spanner wrench" is confusing us, as a spanner and a wrench are the same thing depending on which country you are in......explain please!
June 8, 201412 yr Author Hmm not sure Canada...that's what we call it here in good ol North Carolina. Wanted to adjust my rear shock and my local dealer doesn't carry them, so I'm ordering online. Wasn't sure which size to order.
June 8, 201412 yr If it's for adjusting the shock I think you mean a C spanner or wrench, depending on your geographical location
June 9, 201412 yr You do not need a spanner, but it is the proper tool. Remove the air box. knock loose the locking nut and turn by hand.
June 9, 201412 yr If you are getting a C spanner consider one with the hinged end, It should then fit any trial shock you come across in future http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=c+spanner I have always been happy with gedore tools
