Looking at a 2012 280 Racing, is there any reason a standard bike might be better, or is the Racing the one to go for?

    I've got a 2012 300 racing it's bin a great bike but I'd avoid buying one reason being it was the last model with gold magnesium crank cases , mine started peeling off after two weeks and now looks horrendous, plus the formula brakes arnt the best, if you can find a 2012 raga I'd go for one of them , hope this helps
