August 17, 201412 yr Hi everyone, still on with my rebuild of the 248 and I'm having trouble sourcing a felt pad that sits on the stator plate to wipe the flywheel cam. I'm in Lancashire, UK. Ps. Tried Inmotion UK ..........no joy. Regards. Dave.
August 18, 201412 yr Could you not make something up? I would think that you might struggle to find that as a spare part. Good luck with the search anyway.

August 18, 201412 yr you can buy felt pads from hardware stores for putting under the legs of furniture Good idea, you can buy commercial double sided sticky tape which sticks great to metal surfaces and the felt would take well to it as well.
August 18, 201412 yr Author Thanks guys, what I didn't mention was that the felt pad has worn through and then the cam has worn through the metal strip that supports the felt pad so theres nothing to support a new piece of felt. I understand guys that these things are going to be likes hens teeth and i'm probably going to have to manufacture something, thanks for your help. Regards Dave.
