My TXT was almost impossible to kick through from the top. Loads of compression and I could barely get over the top of the kickstart to get going.

Turns out the previous owner had put the kickstarter too far forward on the spline. I removed and put it back one tooth and it made all the difference in the world. Two teeth further back and the stroke would not go far enough.

Something to check if you are not the original owner of your bike.
