August 19, 200521 yr just changed the gearbox oil on my 05 pro.gasgas usa website recommend 350mls of oil,service manual recommends 550mls ,have seen on previous topic 500mls recommended .can someone let me know what they use please thanks brian
August 19, 200521 yr Not going to help you much here. GasGas manual (2004) says 550. GasGasUK SSDT preparation guide says 400? Mind you, manual also says 40:1 on the fuel - anybody using that - shouldn't think so. Enough people on here to give you a good answer, just a matter of time Come on Jools, where are ya - tell the man!
August 22, 200521 yr 350ml was for the 02 pro, the 05 needs 400-500ml. I use Motul trans oil 10w30, but the ATF or dexron stuff apparently is good. I believe Motul have actually just brought out their own dexron oil (if you care! ) There you go bri/BS!
August 22, 200521 yr When talking about Dexron , can anyone tell me whats the diffrence between Dii and Diii . Is the Dexron iii synthetic and the better one for late 04 0r 05 pro. I use Bel Ray gearsaver 70 in my lads bikes and have no probs but the Dexron is cheaper but certainly looks the same as Bel Ray, can anyone enlighten me?.
