August 23, 200521 yr i have bought an old gasgas 270 1997 in a horrible state. but rebiuldin it and cleaning it all up to look like new. is there any thing i should look out for on them.
August 24, 200521 yr I have one myself and think its great. All that has previously been said about gasgas apply with this one... ie build quality. Most parts are readily available from GG UK with the exception of some stickers. The only really annoying thing i've found was having to replace the clutch plates because the friction material broke away. Apparently this is common on this model age. All I need now is to be able to ride it a bit better and we're sorted

August 24, 200521 yr No! the 1997 JTX is probably one of the most reliable and well made trialsbikes goin' My dads JTX is still on the original spark plug!!!
