Retro Fit New Fenders?

Featured Replies

Quick question for anyone that knows, will the fenders from a '14 or '15 4RT fit on the earlier models? It looks like the mount bolts are in the same places but not sure about the new tank shape vs old.

Thanks in advance,

Pip.

You can buy the new style mudguard that has the old shape front, mitani make them, you'll have to google who sells them, as site rules don't allow me to mention it.

Hmm, Mitani? Sounds spendy especially to get it here in the US. Thanks for the tip though.

Can the stock '15 rear fender be reshaped/trimmed at the tank to make it work? A honda dealer over here has them in stock but they're not really close enough to take my bike down for a test fit.

Cheers,

Pip.

It would probably workout about the same cost buying a mitani one with postage as buying a Montesa and cutting it. Black mudguard is for 2014-2015, red one is for 2005-2012 bikes and cost about 119 plus postage.

Great info thanks guys. Ross, all that link did was convince me to buy a new 4RT instead!
