January 7, 201511 yr I made the mistake of fitting the flywheel weight and stupidly put bolts that where a little to long. And therefore damaging the stator. I'm now at the stage of wanting to bolt everything back on but how do you time it up can't find any timing marks to go off. many thanks.
January 7, 201511 yr Have a look on the Beta UK website, it's based on the position of the screw in the slot on the mounting plate and, I think, varies from model to model. Nobody, not even Lampkin's, knows the timing figure in terms of millimetres BTDC so you can't check it with a strobe.

January 8, 201511 yr Author its the 250 mate looking at the info on beta uk its 7.5mm from the top bolt to the right had side of the slot.
