Hello all. I've got a problem with contamination in the fuel system on my Montesa 1997 315r. I've tried to remove the fuel tap (pet cock in USA) but the captive nuts appear to be spinning in the tank itself.

Also the face of the tap (the on/off plate) seems to be rivetted on.

Anybody got any ideas as I need to get the tap off to completely clean everything? And then I'll need to repair it somehow? The only way I can see of getting the bolts off is to drill them out but there's a good chance of wrecking the tank inserts.

It's annoying because I've just put an OKO carb on and in no time the pilot jet was blocked.
