January 29, 201511 yr Hi, is there such a thing in the UK as an Air Cooled Mono Class at classic or twinshock trials? Thanks.
January 29, 201511 yr I believe Hawks Cheltenham and Peaks Classic have classes for Air cooled mono's, there are other clubs which will let you ride in a special category or if you're over 60, it just depends what neck of the woods you live in whether there is a club near you.

January 29, 201511 yr We at Herefordshire Classic trials club run a/c mono class. The new twinshock trials series run in various locations around the UK also runs a/c mono class. It has been a forgotten class in some areas but with some of the bikes being amongst the most affordable air cooled bikes it should flourish in the future .
January 29, 201511 yr The Normandale sponsored ACU Traditional Trials Championship, held over 10 rounds nationally includes a class for air-cooled monos.
January 29, 201511 yr Author I ride in the southmidland center. Nothing to stop me riding in my normal trials but thought riding in a classic event now and then might be fun.
February 2, 201511 yr I rarely see any AC Mono's down south, I will be riding mine in the normal class when I've finished it. If anyone has one in the back of the shed they fancy digging out I'm sure I can get a class sorted in our trials down here. Then I won't be Billy No Mates on my JCM!!!!
