Hi, my first post on site, so please be gentle with me!

Picked up a SY250 (Yamaha Engine model) recently, would like so help trying to work out it's model year.

It has a blue frame & tank etc.

Exhaust sounds quite noisy, suspect baffles have gone in the rear silencer. Is it possible to get a replacement or non standard rear silencer.

Hi laud,easy blue frames the 04 model,only one with that colour frame.

Never seen a pattern rear silencer,imagine original will be pricey,could be wrong.

Bit of a chore.suggest cutting open repacking/repair and get welded?

Centre box prone to cracking too so check,don't run well with any leaks.

No bad old bikes though.
