Section Flywheel Puller ?

Featured Replies

Hi Folks ,

Does anybody know if the puller I have for my 240 pro is the same size for my section ? Or what size my section needs ?

Or should I just go out there and start taking the section apart ?

Thanks ,

Glenn :icon_salut:

You mean I have to get off my couch?

Without finding my wife`s glasses, looks like 32x1

I have two if you need one, let me know.

Well I just went out to the shop and pulled the kickstarter and flywheel cover off the section ... Without taking off the crank nut , it's definitely bigger than my 240 puller . , 32mm eyeballs about right . I forgot how big the bolt on weights on my section are too ! :)

So Bob , send me a pm with some payment details for paypal ....or you should still have my e-mail address ?

Thanks ,

Glenn

Lineaway .... Wow !!! Thanks SO MUCH !!! You are going to R.I. aren't you ? I owe you a good dinner along with the pint !!!!

And for all you fellow Fantic Freaks , Here is a photo of the gas cap I just received today for the section aluminum tank project . If you want some things done 1st class , sometimes you've got to add the inspiration , The chap doing it for me has made up with 3 different top panels so far , all with funky 4rt type caps . Not what I'm after for a one of a kind bike .He's one of the best fab/metal men I've ever met , but so far the propositions have just looked awkward to me . The photo's show the flywheel puller to give a idea of the size of the cap for the next attempt .... wish me luck , this is getting expensive .... Now to do a tank based on my gas cap ...

Well I bought the bike to show to a mucho better guy sat. morning ... Aluminum shaping master ... Kinda decided I'm gonna attach the gas cap to the stock tank , eliminate all the plastic , and he will build a sexy aluminum one peice shroud/cover for the tank and seat panel ... Stock thumbscrew at front and stock Dzus fastener at the seat end ... Now it's just time and $$$ (but less $$$) My first guy is really good , but seems to lack the vision of the 2nd ... And I know , it's silly to do all this , but I want a special bike !

And from what I know (not much) the puller will fit the 300 motor I just obtained for my 240 too !!! I like it when all my ducks line up !
