March 29, 201511 yr Going to Europe, this year for quite a few weeks, some work and some pleasure. Has anyone ever bought a bike in Spain or Italy or France on the way back. They must be a lot cheaper. The Euro is not a bad rate at the moment either. Does anyone know of any dealers that we could pick a new bike up from while over the water. Or order in advance and collect. Any help appreciated thanks.

April 4, 201511 yr I brought a bike back from Belgium.Will it be new and are you registering it in Spain or where ever ? If yes for your own sake ,make sure you get all your VAT & NOVA paperwork in order. Mine was second hand and i had all the conformity,VAT,registeration origine cert and recipt from the purchase . The fact that you will be paying VAT in Europe doesn't seem to make any odds you still have to proove it. Check out in the internet gov.org importing a vehicle . Good luck and good idea just don't let the paper shufflers ruin it .
