Bondy, be sure you have found a proper fork seal!!Beforeyou install them do the trick thing (not mine but it works)

Take the spring out of the seal & unscrew it @ the joint, cut off 1/4 inch of female end , screw it back together &

re-install in seal , be sure to place spring side down, I have used this way with great success.
