Trying to get a DVLA search done for the reg number of my Fantic. Can anybody tell me how they have it recorded originally? Is it FM whatever or 200 Professional or Trials?

I think you'll find it depends on who and how the original application form for a V5 was filled in.

 

I remember filling an application in years ago and it was just a blank space to fill in whatever you thought appropriate, for both make and model!

(Think it still is)

 

Can you not just search on make and frame/chassis number?

 

If not, anyone know who imported them? 

Or try Bill Pye, he seems to be in the know, Fantic wise.

Well I've sent it off with 200 Trials as the model type so I'll wait and see in 6 weeks time, fingers crossed they can find a reference to the frame number
