July 20, 201511 yr Just picked up a 240 and understand the pegs have to be moved but not sure if the headstock is best modified to steepen the folk angle .All comments welcome and any other mods recommended
July 21, 201511 yr Move the pegs . take your swing arm pivot apart and clean, grease ,repair as needed , Inspect the frame gussets at the headstock for cracks etc. measure your wheelbase . If it's not cracked / stressed , ride the old girl and then see what you want to do , for the events you ride ..... Glenn
July 22, 201511 yr Glenn,You can't tell him to take the swingarm pivot bolt out without telling him the secret about getting it out.
July 22, 201511 yr If you do alter the headstock you really need to alter the length of swing arm. Unless your going to ride it in modern trials you probably won't need to alter it. Moving the pegs and handlebar clamps should be enough

Moving the pegs and handlebar clamps should be enough I agree! The fantic 200 top clamp on my bike was one of the best improvements to the feel of the bike for me , I did that way early in my list of mods .... Glenn PS , The 'secret'!!! the nut on the rightside of the shaft is a jam/lock nut , remove that and then unscrew the shaft from the opposite end , the shaft threads into the frame under the locknut , thats how you torque the shaft when reinstalling , then put the lock nut back on ... don't tell anybody .....
