I am looking to purchase a new silencer for my 01 rev3. BVM moto do an after market one or I can go for an original.

1. Does any body have any experience of the BVM one?

2. Does any one have an opinion on which to go for?

    Beta silencers are rebuildable/repackable... or is yours damaged beyond repair? I've never had to junk a silencer yet (the one on my old GasGas was covered in aluminium patches and rivets). Unless it's totally trashed you should be able to do something.

    You can also buy new packing right from Beta. The packing is pre formed and fits perfectly.

    I repacked mine with bulk packing material and it was a nasty messy job. If you can, I'd advise the preformed packing. Mine did work fine however.
