September 10, 201510 yr Hi all, I'm new to the forum and trials in general. I have myself a '97 Cota 315r. The kickstart is getting a little sloppy and I would like to replace it. It looks like the 4rt is the same, can anyone confirm? Also, occasionally (mostly if I just stab the starter instead of a slow push) the gear will slip. What is going on and what can I do to fix/prevent this? Thanks all!
September 14, 201510 yr Author Splatshop sells just the aluminum piece. That is all I really need and is the direction I went. I'm planning on taking the side cover off and inspecting the kick mechanism.

Turns out it's been discontinued from Honda, so Splatshop doesn't sell it....I can get some more life out of mine before trying the 4rt one.
