Just wondering what difference it would make to add a weight to the stator flywheel on my sons 125 evo.

Probably reduce the performance from a bit sluggish to very sluggish.

A beta 125 is no more "sluggish" than any other 125.

 

Flywheel weights are much more common on bigger cc bikes what are you trying to achieve?

If you want extra low down power and torque, put Boyesen reeds in and tweak the carby. I did that to my Evo 125 and Evo 200 and that gave extra low down pulling power.

Thanks, my son finds the bike lacks power/torque at lower revs.
