I was over here looking on the XiU-rdi website at what they have cooking up and wala they have a drop in fuel injected GasGas trials engine. Knowing that they were involved with the Ossa development it could be a direct offset of that but this could be where GasGas may be going in the future.

Interesting clutch cover and lack of Mechanical water pump but its just a CAD drawing so nothing is absolute.

That is correct. 

 

With anything trials related most people don't develop anything unless they think it has a fighting chance to sell. How many aftermarket drop in engines are being developed for other bikes? Possibly something that GasGas commissioned but neglected to follow through on or its the next generation pro engine. Regardless there is a bunch of work in that engine if it actually makes it into the world.
