Hi All,

 

Went practicing at Cliviger on Friday last, was talking to the farmer/landowner and he mentioned that travellers/gypsies were aware the top gate was not locked and had been known to sneak down and steal stone/metal from his yard at the bottom.

 

I'd been having a problem with my van central locking in that it would alarm fully but not lock the side sliding door, hence I had removed everything from inside.

 

When I returned from the hill after an hour the side door had been opened and alarm activated.

 

I'd advise removing all valuables tools etc from your vehicle before attending - can't imagine they wont bother breaking in if they think something might be present to steal, especially if they can see/hear you some distance away.
