Got a beta evo 2014 250 for my birthday and need to buy some gearbox oil but dont know the best one to buy anyone recommend any? would be much appreciated.

I tried a few but nano-trans worked the best for me.

I'm another one using Nano Trans.

 

I've been struggling to get a good clutch action on my 2014 300.

It seems to suffer lots of drag, no matter what oil is in there.

 

Cleaning the plates helps, see post at top of the Beta section, as does the Nano Trans.

 

But I'm going to try some of these different setting by replacing the thicker inner and outer fibre clutch plates.

I'm running putoline gp10, seems spot on! 

I tried 3 or 4 and settled on Motul 300v.

Less drag and smoother release.

Although fitting a sureflex clutch pack made a bigger difference than; changing the oil brand, swapping out the thicker plates, or doing the clutch fix.

ATF mineral based works best for me , changed regular

Have also done the clutch mod and my clutch is spot on
